                                          White Sauce (Serves 500 ml):

                                          35g butter

Quick & easy lasagne recipe with home-made meat sauce and tasty melted cheese on top. Cheese does more than taste good—it’s rich in calcium and beneficial proteins too!

| 5 | How to make the white sauce (Optional) Melt the butter for 1 minute on Medium Microwave in a jug on base of oven. Add the flour, stir, and cook for a further 1 minute on Medium Microwave. Set aside. | 
| 6 | Heat the milk in a jug on High Microwave 2 minutes 30 seconds - 3 minutes. Pour the milk over the butter and flour mixture, whisking all the time. Cook again on High Microwave for 2-3 minutes, whisking vigorously several times and paying close attention to ensure that the sauce doesn’t overflow. | 
| 7 | Check the seasoning and add a pinch of grated nutmeg. N.B.
