Tasty and easy plum jam recipe for our Panasonic breadmakers. This sweet jam is extremely versatile and can be used as a topping for toast, scones or made into a cake. You can make this jam in big batches and give it away as a present for Christmas and birthdays! This is a lovely recipe for the breadmaker that can be enjoyed by all.

Ingredients

700g plums finely chopped
350g sugar
6g pectin

Steps

Cut your plums in half and remove the pits. Now you can chop them into small pieces.
Place half of the fruit into the pan of your breadmaker, then add half of the sugar.
Repeat with the remaining fruit and sugar.

Sprinkle the pectin onto the ingredients in the pan.
Tip: If you like cinnamon, add a little bit for an autumn/winter flavour.

Select the jam menu and enter 1 hour and 40 mins on the timer.
