Steps
1
Stir the dry yeast and sugar with 250 ml of plant milk (maximum 35 °C) and leave for 10 minutes. Mix the linseed with 2 tbsp of water and also put aside. Melt the margarine at low temperature. |
2
Fill the flour, lemon zest, margarine and yeast mixture into the bread maker and set a program with long and intense kneading time and a rising time of about 90 minutes. In the breadmaker Croustina, we use program 11, which we stop after the first kneading phase (around 30 minutes) and simply start again. 55 minutes before end of the program, press the stop button and take out the dough. |
3
Divide it into dough pieces weighing around 80 g and form them into round balls. Place them on a baking tray covered with baking paper and leave covered with a damp cloth for another 30 minutes. |
4
Preheat your oven or Combi Microwave Oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat. |
5
Coat the donuts generously with the remaining plant milk and bake on a medium rack for 15 minutes until golden brown. Then cool on a wire rack. |
6
Meanwhile lightly warm the jam in a pan. Pour into a piping bag with filling spout and fill each doughnut with a little jam. |
