Directions
In the last few years, cauliflower has gained popularity and become the hero of veggies. You can mash it and turn it into mock mashed potatoes, you can “rice” it and make pizza with it. Another great use? To cut into thick slices, season it with spices and make “steaks” out of it. They’re the most amazing vegetarian and vegan vegetable based side dish. If you add some proteins (plant based or not) it can easily turn ito a great main meal too.

Steps

Cut cauliflower into thick slices. |

Preheat your grill microwave oven on steam cooking. |

Arrange cauliflower slices over the grid for steam cooking, cover the Steam+ Pot with the lid and cook on STEAM for 10 minutes. |

In the meantime, mix olive oil with lemon juice, turmeric, paprika and salt. |

Once steamed, remove cauliflower slices from the grid and brush them with the olive oil mixture. |

Arrange them on the baking tin and cook on COMBI 1 (440W + High Grill Level) for 10 minutes. |

Serve with pesto and dukkah seasoning. |
