This light and wholesome loaf combines white and whole wheat flours, resulting in a soft, balanced bread perfectly baked on your mini breadmaker. A touch of lemon juice also helps achieve a better rise.

½ tsp yeast
125g wheat bread flour
125g whole wheat bread flour
½ tsp salt
¾ tbsp sugar
15g butter
185 mls water
1tsp lemon juice
optional
1 tsp of lemon

Steps

Place all the above ingredients into the bread pan in the order listed above and select MENU 4 (Whole wheat – 5 hours).

Remove the bread at the end of the bake cycle and allow it to cool completely before slicing.
