These crisp sweet potato chips are cooked using the Panasonic Air Fry Combination Microwave Oven’s combination setting for a golden, crunchy result. A light cornflour coating helps create an even, crisp texture with minimal oil.

3 large sweet potatoes cut into wedges
1 tbsp cornflour
salt and pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
olive oil spray
paprika mayo to serve
fresh parsley chopped, to serve

Steps

Place the sweet potato wedges in a bowl, add the cornflour, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder, then toss until lightly and evenly coated.

Arrange the wedges in a single layer on the air frying tray, then spray lightly with olive oil.

Place the enamel tray directly onto the glass turntable in the Panasonic Air Fry Combination Microwave Oven, set the wire rack on top, then position the air frying tray with the wedges over the wire rack.

Select Combination 3 and cook at 200°C + MW 300 W for 15 - 20 minutes until golden, crisp,and cooked through turning halfway through if needed.

Serve hot with paprika mayo and finish with freshly chopped parsley.
