You still need something sweet for your Halloween Party? Our Pumpkin Pie is just the right thing. It is a typical american pie and belongs to Halloween as well as Autumn season.

300g pumpkin
50ml heavy cream
2 eggs
80g sugar
a pinch of cinnamon powder
a pinch of vanilla extract
20cm tart dough e.g. Shortcrust
sweetedned whipped cream to taste

Steps

Pre-heat your Combi Microwave Oven to 180°C.

Pell pumpkin and remove seeds. Cut into bite-size chunks.

Mix heavy cream, eggs, sugar, cinnamon powder, vanilla extract and the pumpkin chunks together by using a blender.

Roll the dough out and place it in a cake or tart pan. Cut off overhanging dough with a knife. Add the puree on the dough and spred to the edge.

Bake the pumpkin pie 180°C for 40-50 minutes. The pie should be firm but not dry.

Allow the pie to cool down before serving it with sweetened whipped cream.

Tip: Of course, you can also make the dough yourself after the basic recipe. Due to the cooling time (at least 1 hour) it will take a bit longer.
