The air fryer “Steak” program sears and cooks your steak in just 8 minutes without having to heat up a pan or turn on the barbecue so you can relax and enjoy this delicious dish without worrying about a heavy clean up job.

Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
2 sirloin steaks about 225g each, rested for 30 minutes
olive oil
salt and pepper
For the chimichurri:
25g parsley chopped
1 red chilli half of the seeds removed and finely chopped
1/2 cup of olive oil
3 cloves garlic crushed
salt and pepper

Steps

Pat the steaks dry and drizzle with olive oil then sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Place in the air fryer and select the “Steak” Programme and cook for 8 minutes total on 200°C, flipping with tongs half way through (4min on each side).

While the steaks cook, combine the chimichurri ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

Remove the steaks from the air fryer, the internal temp should reach 55°C for medium rare, and set aside to rest for 5 minutes.

Slice the steak and serve with chimichurri on top.
