Shrimp and Mackerel Bisque Recipe

Adjust Servings:
12 (300g) shrimp
150g small mackerel
150g onion
50g celery
1 clove of garlic
20ml olive oil
200ml white wine
30ml pernod
200ml tomatoes
400ml water
8g bouillon cube
4 french bread
salt
pepper
dill

Steps

Peel and devein shrimp, and keep the heads and tails. Cut mackerel into chunks.

Peel onion and garlic, and thinly slice. Cut celery into thin slices.

Heat saucepan and add olive oil, stir-fry ingredients from (2), and add the mackerel chunks, shrimp heads and tails. Mash them up while continuing to stir-fry.

Add whole tomato, water, bouillon cubes, and bread, and steam with low heat for 15 minutes. Add salt and pepper.

Place ingredients from (3 + 4) into blender, and close the lid. Select SOUP mode and blend, and pour into a serving dish.

Heat skillet with olive oil and add shrimp and dill. Serve with toasted French bread.
