200g normal soft wheat flour
200g strong or hard wheat flour e.g. T65, Type 1
20g softened butter
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp fine salt
280ml semi-skimmed milk at room temperature
130g chocolate chips or chunks

Steps

1

Add the yeast, flour, butter, sugar salt and milk into the bread pan of Croustina.

2

Select menu 10 and press the start button.

Add the chocolate chips when the breadmaker beeps.

Press the start button.

5

Once the bread is baked, take it out of the bread pan and let it cool down on a wire rack.

Tip: For a less dark crust, choose the “light” crust color option.
Some chocolate chips will melt and others will remain intact, creating a marble effect.
This bread is delicious as is or can also be served with butter or chocolate spread for a tasty treat.
