Ingredients

500g strong bread flour
50g caster sugar
7g dried yeast
1 tsp salt
300ml milk
50g unsalted butter melted
1 egg beaten
150g unsalted butter softened
100g brown sugar
2 tbsp ground cinnamon
225g cream cheese
60g icing sugar
60ml milk
1 tsp salt
butter for greasing

Steps

1

Add the flour and sugar to the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a dough hook, or mix together in a large bowl by hand.

2

Warm the milk until lukewarm, add the yeast and set aside for a few minutes until foamy.

3

Melt the butter gently, then remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly.

4

Add the salt to the flour mixture, then pour in the yeast mixture, melted butter and beaten egg.

5

Mix until a soft dough forms, then knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

6

Cover the dough and leave it to rest for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

7

Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle approximately 1 cm thick.

8

Mix the softened butter, brown sugar and cinnamon together, then spread evenly over the dough.

9

Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 16 even rolls.

10

Butter the enamel tray from your Panasonic Air Fry Combination Microwave Oven, then arrange the rolls cut-side up on top.

11

Allow the rolls to rest for 8 minutes at room temperature.

12

Place the tray onto the Panasonic Air Fry Combination Microwave Oven on top of the glass turntable and cook using the Air Fry function 4 at 180°C + MW 300 W for 45 minutes until golden, risen and cooked through.

13

Mix the cream cheese, icing sugar, milk and salt together until smooth.
Drizzle the icing over the warm cinnamon rolls before serving.

Enjoy
