Who said chocolate cake has to be dry? Not with this easy, moist dessert cake recipe from the Combi Steam Oven.

Steps

Place chocolate and butter in a bowl. Place on the base of the oven and melt on 1000 W for 1-2 minutes. |

Cool slightly. Whisk eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy and then fold in the chocolate mixture. Fold in the flour, baking powder and almonds. Spoon the mixture into the tin. |

Place tin on glass tray on wire shelf in lower shelf position and cook on Combi 11 for 20 minutes or until baked. Leave to cool. |

To make the topping, place butter in a bowl on the base of the oven and melt on 1000 W for 30-40 seconds. Stir in the remaining ingredients and beat well until smooth. Spread the topping over the top of the cake. Optionally add fresh fruits and nuts onto the chocolate topping. |
