Steamed Cinnamon and Vanilla Pears with Almonds Recipe

Serve a quick 35-minute dessert that even vegans can enjoy: sweet steamed pears recipe with cinnamon, vanilla and almonds.

Adjust Servings:
4 (200g) pears Comice, Angelys, Williams or others
2 vanilla pods
4 pinches of ground cinnamon
1 large handful of sliced almonds
½ of a lemon

Steps

Peel the pears using a peeler. Sprinkle with lemon juice.

Cut the vanilla pod open lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Divide evenly between the pears.
Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on each pear.

Place the pears on the Panasonic steam oven glass tray. Select steam 1 for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, roast the almond flakes in a frying pan without using any fat. Turn regularly until the almonds are golden on both sides. Set aside.

Take the pears out of the oven, leave to rest for 5 minutes.

Decorate the pears with almonds by arranging them like a flower.
