Spelt Chickpea Bread with Sesame & Nori Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 tsp dry yeast
325g fine spelt flour
100g chickpea flour
12g sesame
5g furikake japanese seasoning mix
2g dry nori flakes 12g once soaked
320ml water lukewarm

Steps

If you are using dry nori flakes which need to be soaked, soak them first in water as indicated on the packaging. If you use sushi nori sheets, just rip some into small pieces and add it later with the other ingredients (without soaking them in water).

If you don't have Furikake (Japanese seasoning mix) at home, you can instead use black and white sesame.

Take the bread pan with the kneading blade out of the breadmaker and add in all the ingredients. (top-to-bottom order)

Place the bread pan back into the Croustina breadmaker, close the lid, select menu 1 and press start.

Optional: 1h before end of the programme, open the lid, spray/splah/brush a little water onto the dough carefully and sprinkle some Furikake and/or Sesame on top.

When your bread is done, take it out and let it cool down.
