Directions
All the softness kids love, with a little extra goodness baked in. Perfect for sandwiches — but honestly, it rarely makes it that far before someone grabs a warm slice straight from the tin. Homemade bread doesn’t have to be complicated, and this one proves it: no fancy techniques, no hours of folding and shaping, just a few simple ingredients that come together beautifully. This mix of white and wholemeal flour gives you the best of both — lightness where it counts, with a subtle nuttiness and a bit more fibre tucked in. It’s the kind of loaf that makes you wonder why you ever settled for the bagged stuff. Created for our mini bread and ice maker SD-PMC100/ SD-PMC101.
Note: This recipe includes approximately 15 minutes of active time and approximately 4 hours of machine cycle time. Use fine salt, not flaked — flaked salt measures lighter by volume and under-salts the loaf at the same spoon measure.
