Fresh Red Juice – Chia Fresca Recipe

When it’s summer and we decide to go to the beach, we always love to bring a big bag full of local and organic fruit and some refreshing drinks to fight off the summer heat. These chia fresca made out of juice make the perfect drink to share while watching the sea. Thanks to the fruits and veggies, they’re packed with vitamins and are naturally refreshing and thanks to chia seeds, full of proteins and healthy omega-3 fats, you’ll get satiated and satisfied.

Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
1 small watermelon
1 cucumber
1 lime
2 tbsp fresh mint
3 tbsp chia seeds

Steps

Peel watermelon and cut it into chunks.

Peel lime.

Put, in this order, mint, watermelon, lime and cucumber into the juicer. Add chia seeds to the juice and mix well.

Allow the juice to rest for 5 minutes, then stir them again and transfer into a glass bottle.

Store into the fridge and shake well before consuming.
