Ingredients

400g chickpeas drained
½ red onion chopped
30g parsley chopped
80g courgette salted and squeezed
3 garlic cloves
1 tsp ground cumin
½ tsp ground coriander
salt to taste
16g self-rising flour
olive oil for cooking

Steps

1

Place the chickpeas, red onion, parsley, courgette, garlic, cumin, coriander, salt, and self-rising flour into a food processor. Pulse until the mixture reaches a breadcrumb-like consistency.

2

Place the party snack plate on the Panasonic Multi-Cooker, adjust the dial so that the party platter icon flashes, and press Start. Wait for the party snack plate to preheat.

3

Brush each cavity with olive oil. Roll the mixture into 25 g balls and place one into each cavity.

4

Cook until golden brown, using a small silicone spatula or kebab stick to turn the falafel for even cooking.

5

Serve warm with dips or in wraps, or allow to cool down and eat later as an afternoon snack. The falafel will keep in the fridge for 3-4 days.

Enjoy
