Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
250g strong wheat flour
250g semi whole wheat flour e.g. type 1050 or brown flour
125ml soy milk
125ml water
10g dry yeast
80g light-coloured brown sugar
70g sunflower oil
a pinch of salt
vanilla to taste
100g dark chocolate chips

NOTE: the recipe ingredient amounts are not suitable for the Mini Breadmaker SD-PN100

Steps

1

Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm soy milk.

2

Select the Pizza Dough Programme on your breadmaker and press start.

3

Once the programme has finished, take out the dough and let it rest for a few minutes. Roll out the dough a bit with your hands and fold in the chocolate chips.

4

Place it back in the machine's pan after first removing the kneading blade. Let it rise for about 2 hours.

5

Once leavened, place the dough onto the countertop and use a pasta cutter to divide it into buns weighing about 50 g each.

6

Shape balls with your hands and place them well-spaced on a baking sheet covered with baking paper so they rise again.

7

Place the covered buns in a warm place until the buns have visibly increased in volume (about 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes).

8

Preheat the oven (we used our Panasonic inverter oven) to 180°C and in the meantime brush the buns with non-dairy milk.

9

Once the oven has reached the right temperature, bake the buns for about 13-15 minutes, until golden brown.

10

Remove from the oven and cool on a wire rack.

Enjoy
