What do you do when you want some chips but you’re on a diet!? Make your own low-oil vegetable chips by hand! And the carrots and beetroots keep things colourful and nutritious.

Ingredients

200g sweet potato
200g carrot
200g beetroot
200g potato
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
sprinkle of salt and pepper

Steps

Slice all vegetables into thin slices using a sharp knife or a bron mandoline.

Soak slices in water and rinse repeatedly until water runs clear.

Dry the slices and toss with olive oil, salt and pepper.

Put the slices on the grill tray, in upper shelf position, select Crispy Grill mode and cook for 30 minutes until the slices are crisp.
