Thick slices of pistachio and white chocolate brioche are coated in a honey–butter glaze with lemon zest and baked in the Panasonic Combi Oven NN-CD88 until crisp and golden. Served simply with cream and lemon curd for a bright, indulgent finish.

80g softened butter
80g brown sugar
40g honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
zest of 1 lemon
4 slices pistachio and white chocolate brioche 3 cm thick, crusts trimmed
crème fraîche or cream, to serve
lemon curd, to serve

Steps

Preheat the Panasonic Combi Oven NN-CD88 to 180°C (Press the Air Fry / Combi button once to select Air Fry 1).

Place the softened butter, brown sugar, honey, vanilla extract, and lemon zest into a bowl. Mix with a spoon until light and fluffy.

Spread the butter mixture generously over all sides of the brioche slices.

Arrange the slices on the prepared tray and air fry for 10 minutes, flip the slices and continue air frying for 8–10 minutes until deep golden brown and caramelised.

Remove from the combi oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes so the toast crisps up.

Serve warm with crème fraîche or cream and lemon curd.
