A rich and creamy homemade nut drink made from soaked almonds and coconut, blended with dates and sea salt, then finished with a swirl of melted milk and dark chocolate.

1 cup raw almonds soaked overnight in water
1 cup dried coconut shavings soaked overnight in water
2 pitted dates
¼ tsp salt
water to cover (approx. 750–800ml)
40g milk chocolate
40g dark chocolate

Steps

Drain the soaked almonds and coconut. Add to the jug of the Panasonic Blender & Soup Maker along with the dates and salt. Add fresh water to just under the 1-litre mark.

Turn the knob to the Nut Milk setting and press Start.

While blending, melt the milk and dark chocolate together in the microwave until smooth.

Once blending is complete, pour in the melted chocolate and stir or pulse briefly to combine.

Strain through a nut milk bag or fine sieve if desired. Serve chilled or store in the fridge for up to three days.
