This recipe is aimed at toddlers and children or may be shared with the whole family. Ideal recipe when little ones are independently feeding themselves, and for introducing different flavours and textures to their food. These recipes are also great for batch baking and freezing!

This granola is sweet and healthy. It’s perfect as a cereal or in yoghurt with some sliced banana and apple!

Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
175g oats
120g soft brown sugar
¼ tsp salt
50g sunflower seeds
25g desiccated coconut
2 tbsp sunflower oil
4 tbsp maple syrup
25g dried cranberries
25g raisins
25g dried apricot finely chopped

Steps

Preheat the combi microwave oven on Convection 150 ºC with the enamel tray.

Mix together the oats, sugar, salt, sunflower seeds and coconut. Mix the oil and maple syrup together and stir thoroughly into the oat mixture.

Carefully grease the enamel tray and spread the oat mixture evenly across the tray.

Cook on Convection 150°C for 40-45 minutes in your combi microwave oven, stirring every 10 minutes.

Pour the cooked mixture into a bowl and stir in the cranberries, raisins and apricots.
