Crispy Beef Tacos with Sour Cream, Pickled Onions and Jalapeños Recipe

Flour tortillas pan-crisped with seasoned beef mince, seared on the flat plate until golden and crisp, then topped with cool sour cream, pickled onions, jalapeños and fresh coriander.

250g beef mince
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp vegetable oil
4 small flour tortillas 15 cm
4 tbsp sour cream
sliced pickled jalapeños to serve
2 tbsp pickled red onions
fresh coriander leaves to serve

In a bowl, mix the beef mince with cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper.

Attach the flat plate to the Panasonic Multi-Cooker. Press the BBQ setting and press Start to preheat.

Add the vegetable oil to the flat plate. Spoon small portions of seasoned mince onto each tortilla and spread it thinly to the edges.

Place the tortillas beef-side down onto the flat plate and cook for 3-4 minutes until the meat is browned and crisp. Flip and cook the other side for 1-2 minutes until golden.

Transfer to plates. Serve topped with sour cream, pickled jalapeños, pickled onions and coriander.
